Stoney Musgrove is a talented musician and songwriter hailing from Paris, Texas. Born and raised in country music, Stoney was surrounded by music from a young age. His passion for music was ignited when he picked up his first guitar at the age of 12, and he hasn't looked back since. Growing up, Stoney was heavily influenced by classic country artists and songwriters such as Dean Dillon, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Ronnie Milsap. Their storytelling lyrics and heartfelt melodies inspired him to start writing his own songs. Stoney's music is a blend of traditional country sounds with a modern twist, creating a unique and captivating sound that sets him apart from other artists in the genre. After honing his craft and playing gigs in the Texas honky tonks, Stoney began to focus on recording some of his own music. His debut EP, "True Story," was released in 2019, with its title track being a song about a man who worked on the ranch he grew up on in Texas. The song “Old Tailgate” is an emotional song written about hard work, first loves, and family. A single that was later released called “Local Honey” was featured in a songwriting contest in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The song took the #1 spot landing it on a local Texas radio station’s “Hall of Fame”. Stoney's music is known for its honest lyrics, soulful vocals, and infectious melodies that resonate with listeners of all ages.
